Factors Initiating Development

Product development can be driven by a wide range of factors such as changes in legislation, industry standards and codes of practice, customers keen to respond to changing trends or new market opportunities and the introduction of new factory equipment and processing techniques.

And, of course, we’re always looking to introduce new products and expand our overall product portfolio.

Our Development Process

The Thew Arnott approach to product development follows a well-proven process.

First, the requirement for innovation is specified and analysed to create a clear development brief. We then move into a phase where we meet and assess the various technical challenges involved in achieving the goal required.

Following this, it’s all about creating and testing a selection of potential technical solutions until the optimal solution is determined and we can conclude the development process.

Through our continuing investment in R&D and our collaborative relationships with leading edge partners, Thew Arnott has all the expertise and experience required to respond positively to any challenge presented by the industry and our customers.
